This page explains how Bucky sources and displays housing designs from public catalogs across Canada.
Design Sources
Bucky displays publicly available housing designs from federal, provincial, and municipal housing design catalogs across Canada, including the CMHC Housing Design Catalog. Bucky is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any catalog publisher, government body, or architecture firm unless explicitly stated.
Attribution
Design attribution is provided where publicly available. All catalog designs remain the intellectual property of their respective creators and issuing organizations.
Professional Requirements
Bucky does not build, design, or modify these designs. A qualified professional (architect, engineer, or designer) is required to adapt any catalog design to your site, local building codes, and bylaws. Bucky does not guarantee design accuracy, availability, or suitability for any specific site.
Auto-Generated Profiles
Some designer and firm profiles on Bucky are generated from publicly available catalog data. These profiles may not reflect current firm affiliations or contact information. If you represent a firm and would like to claim or remove an auto-generated profile, please visit our profile claim page.
