Why lot dimensions decide more than people expect
Minimum site area, minimum width, and minimum depth are the first tests almost every zone applies, and a lot that misses one of them changes what is possible before any design work starts. Reading those numbers off a listing or scaling them from an aerial is how projects end up carrying a bad assumption for months. This pulls the recorded parcel geometry instead, and draws it so the shape is obvious as well as the numbers.

- Where do the lot dimensions come from?
- The municipal or provincial parcel record for the address, not an estimate drawn off satellite imagery. Area, width, and depth come from the parcel geometry we hold for that lot.
- Can I use these numbers in a submission?
- Treat them as a screening figure. Parcel records carry their own tolerances and can lag a recent severance or consolidation. A survey is still what governs for anything you file.
- What about the lots next door?
- The result also counts the parcels sharing a boundary with yours and the ones nearby, which is usually the next question if you are looking at an assembly.
